The problem we kept hearing

Interior designers are creative professionals who spend a startling share of their week on something that has nothing to do with design: sourcing. Forty-seven browser tabs. Thirty-plus vendor sites and trade catalogs. No central search, no price comparison, no fast way to know whether a piece is even available right now.

The numbers designers gave us were consistent. Fifteen to twenty hours a month lost to sourcing. Three to five revision rounds per project, often because a client could not truly see the design until it was too late to change without cost. Eight to twelve hours building a single concept presentation — then waiting days for a reply.

The creative work takes a couple of hours. The rest is wasted motion.

What we're building

Desigfy turns a brief into a fully sourced, in-budget room. Instead of sourcing one vendor at a time, a designer searches the whole US market at once — comparing price, lead time, and availability side by side, holding the whole project to a client budget as it comes together, and swapping any piece while the total updates instantly.

For furniture vendors, that same search is a new front door. Vendors that sell in the US, work with designers, and keep a digital catalog get discovered at the exact moment a designer is sourcing their category — specified into real projects with real budgets.

We build for working interior designers, with a particular focus on those four to seven years into their practice — busy enough that sourcing is a real tax on their time, established enough to know exactly where the process breaks.
